Yes, you can swim with an IP68 smartwatch. The IP68 rating means that the smartwatch is dust-tight and can be submerged in water up to 1.5 meters for up to 30 minutes. This makes it suitable for swimming and other water activities. However, it's important to note that while the smartwatch is water-resistant, it may not be suitable for diving or other activities that involve high water pressure. Always check the manufacturer's guidelines for specific water resistance limitations. **

The main difference between the IP68 and IPX7 certificates lies in their specific ratings for water and dust resistance. IP68 certification indicates that a device is completely dust-tight and can withstand continuous immersion in water beyond 1 meter depth, whereas IPX7 certification means the device can withstand immersion in water up to 1 meter for a limited time. In summary, IP68 offers higher protection against both dust and water compared to IPX7. **

Yes, the Huawei P30 Pro should still be IP68 certified after a repair as long as the repair was done properly and the device was resealed correctly to maintain its water and dust resistance. It is important to ensure that the repair was carried out by a professional technician who used the appropriate tools and parts to maintain the device's original certification. It is recommended to double-check with the repair service to confirm that the IP68 certification was not compromised during the repair process. **

Phones with IP68 certification are designed to withstand immersion in water up to a certain depth for a limited amount of time. While they can handle being submerged in freshwater, prolonged exposure to saltwater or other liquids can still cause damage over time. It is not recommended to use these phones permanently in saltwater or other bodies of water as it can lead to corrosion and other issues that may not be covered by the warranty. It is always best to follow the manufacturer's guidelines for the proper use and care of your device. **

While mobile phones with IP68 certification are designed to be water-resistant and can withstand being submerged in water for a certain period of time, it is not recommended to use them permanently in saltwater or other bodies of water. Prolonged exposure to saltwater can still cause damage to the phone over time, despite its water-resistant capabilities. It is always best to avoid prolonged exposure to water, especially saltwater, to ensure the longevity and functionality of your mobile phone. **

If an IP68 phone has fallen into the water and the camera is fogged up from the inside, it is possible that water has seeped into the device. Despite having an IP68 rating, prolonged exposure to water or submersion beyond the recommended depth can still cause damage. It is advisable to immediately remove the phone from the water, dry it thoroughly, and seek professional assistance to prevent further damage. **

If you bought an IP68 phone on Amazon and now have water damage, the first thing you should do is immediately turn off the phone and remove the SIM card and any other removable components. Then, try to dry the phone as much as possible using a soft cloth or towel. Next, place the phone in a bowl of uncooked rice or silica gel packets to help absorb the moisture. It's also a good idea to contact the seller or Amazon customer service to see if there are any warranty options available for water damage. If the phone still doesn't work after these steps, you may need to consider taking it to a professional for repair. **
